BELIEVE IT OR NOT, WHEN I BOUGHT MY FIRST HOME, REAL ESTATE WASN’T EVEN ON MY MIND.

It all started when my mom took me to see a townhouse and said, "𝐁𝐮𝐲 𝐢𝐭!"

I was taken aback.

How could I possibly buy a place? I was not ready.

I told my mom,

"I'm not ready, Mom. I have $50k in student loans."

"I'm not ready, Mom. I just graduated and don't have a full-time job yet," I added.

"I'm not ready, Mom. I don't even have the minimum down payment required," I exclaimed.

But my mom reassured me, "Don't worry about it... we will figure it out."

And we did…. I bought my first place for $181k!

I got my full-time job.

I borrowed the down payment funds from my dad and sister.

I rented out rooms in the townhouse to my friends from church.

Three years later, I sold my townhouse.

With the profits,

  1.  I paid off my student loans.

  2.  I bought a more expensive, larger full detached bungalow with a walkout basement.

  3.  I renovated the house and lived on the top floor.

  4.  I added a basement apartment and rented it out.

My rental income coming in was more than my monthly mortgage payments.

That’s when I was HOOKED!

Why are more people not doing this????

I quit my full-time job and went into mortgage brokering full-time to learn the ins and outs of real estate investing.

This was over 20 years ago.

Today, I own 7 properties, all thanks to my mom's guidance and blessings.

My mom was there to guide me and 𝐈 𝐚𝐦 𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐞 𝐭𝐨 𝐠𝐮𝐢𝐝𝐞 𝐲𝐨𝐮.

Real estate isn’t as hard as it seems.

It’s just learning the know-how.
